2015 - Central Bedfordshire Council's Development Strategy has now been withdrawn.

2014 - Central Bedfordshire Council held a further consultation on its revised Development Strategy in 2014.  HPC worked with its retained Planning Consultant preparing a response in response to the revised document which is available below.

This development appears embedded in the Core Strategy and Harlington Parish Council believe that planning will be approved and there is no question that it will go ahead unless economic factors prevent it being a viable proposal for ProLogis, who have been working on this since 2008.  It is unlikely, having achieved the full support and commitment to this by Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) and Network Rail, that this will not go ahead as ProLogis are also contributing to the cost of road building - as confirmed by Robin Woodbridge (Senior Vice President - Development).  Alterations to the greenbelt are also approved in principal by CBC.
