The Parish Hall first opened in 1859 as a church school.  The East and West wings were added in 1873 and 1900.  The date 1873 can be seen above the large window of the East Wing.  After the new school was built in Westoning Road in the late 1960s for the infant children, the juniors used it till the mid 1970s and it was eventually closed in November 1980.

In September 1980 Harlington Parish Council purchased the premises for £7000, with part of the agreement being that St Mary's Church retained the right to use the premises on one day of the week (Sunday).

The building was extensively renovated and was opened as the Parish Hall on 21st November 1981.  A joint project between Harlington Heritage Trust, Harlington Parish Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund enabled a Council Office and Heritage Office to be built (to the rear of the Parish Hall) and opened in 2008.

The three rooms of the Parish Hall are available to hire individually or together.  If you are interested in booking the Parish Hall please contact the Council Office on 01525 875933 or email enquiries@harlington-pc.gov.uk.
